My friend who is well versed in clas...Yeah, I know. My friend who is well versed in classics did offer to loan me her copy but I was already half way through at that point. Maybe I will get to read the poem version at some point in the future.<br /><br />Sadly I never got anything as interesting as Homer at school. My school was completely unoriginal in it's line up. Making up for it now though. Have to say though I might not have appreciated it at the time but I certainly do now. That is a surprise. I can imagine the disappointed expectations. <br /><br />I've long meant to reread Homer, having read him shortly before I dropped out of school as a teenager.
