I loved those books and was still tempted to toss the book across the room. It was that bad. I didn't read the entire series but enough to know at least most of the main characters. There were still a good few that I didn't recognise. It didn't mean anything to the story but did detract from the nostalgia the author was trying to push on you. It was for the kid inside me that I read it. Glad I did although I really hope there aren't going to be more of them. Not sure I could read others.

Oh and Meg, I think she might be copying the return of some other authors like the vampire diary series but she's taken a different angle.KarenSihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17875454663363953921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924802320400229726.post-57047051810428837352011-05-14T18:21:48.055-07:002011-05-14T18:21:48.055-07:00I didn't even know this existed! It makes me think of those sequels to movies made 6 years later with none of the original cast but weird dialogue references to them to try and tie it together! I never read this series religiously, only one here and there, so I imagine I'd probably just end up completely confused when they list all the characters...the kid inside is kind of dying to read this though!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09259549933849264277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924802320400229726.post-79157957329019007722011-05-14T16:16:24.205-07:002011-05-14T16:16:24.205-07:00I didn't read enough of the Sweet Valley serie...I didn't read enough of the Sweet Valley series to really be into this book, I think. I'm just really interested in the fact that the author felt like bringing these characters back so long after the series ended!Meg @ A Bookish Affairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15634397276714805455noreply@blogger.com
