I might change my mind then. Although, I know a few people who love Sherlock but haven't enjoyed that one quite as much.KarenSihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17875454663363953921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924802320400229726.post-4509905097212248022012-07-07T11:26:34.782-07:002012-07-07T11:26:34.782-07:00Always a pleasure to meet a fan of Sherlock Holmes...Always a pleasure to meet a fan of Sherlock Holmes!

It looks like Arthur Wontner on the cover.

I am kind of surprised that 'The Hound' disappointed you. Have you read 'The Valley of Fear' and 'Silver Blaze'. These 2 are my favorites in the canon.

Cheers!Arunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16498276962097853996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924802320400229726.post-72122808060596233142011-09-16T11:10:44.250-07:002011-09-16T11:10:44.250-07:00I read this a few weeks (months - who knows) back ...I read this a few weeks (months - who knows) back and was mystified at how Holmes could know what he knew. But then I don't usually read detective stories (or maybe I'm just thick).FBThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11655437171734022043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924802320400229726.post-86081404207604430402011-09-16T06:31:05.068-07:002011-09-16T06:31:05.068-07:00Haha yes, the cover! I guess it was okay for him to be smarter than I or something. I haven't read a Sherlock Holmes story in ages. I should add him to the list for 2012. :)Satiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03227625739706115993noreply@blogger.com
