It's Monday! What Are You Reading!

This is a book meme by Sheila of Book Journey. It's a great way of sharing our reading week.

I had another good week and read;
Mary Tudor by Anna Whitelock. Interesting and readable but not quite enough detail for me.

Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut. This was a re-read for me. Loved it this time round.

The Bachman Books by Stephen King. Proves that King is more than just a horror writer.

Just now I am reading;
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. Have finally come off my YA ban. Won't get through my TBR pile if I don't. Not the best choice as I am really not enjoying it.

Next I plan to read;
A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin. Really can't wait to read this one. Loved the first one.

What are you reading?

  6. leeswammes it was awful. Glad I finished it.

    Teddyree, I hope you get to read them. I started book 2 today and I'm already sucked back into the story.

    Thanks Deb, I get bored if I tend to read the same things all the time. I learned that the hard way.

    Laurel-Rain, I loved Slaughterhouse 5. I wasn't to fond of it the first time but obviously things change over time. Glad I gave it another chance.

    Tracy, thanks for the tip. I haven't heard of Sharon Penman but she is now noted.

  7. Thank you for the kind thoughts for my cousin.

    You will love Clash of Kings! I don't know how Martin keeps twisting the plot around, but he does. I didn't care too much for A Great and Terrible Beauty either. I've never picked up the rest of the series and don't really have any intention of doing so. I really need to read Slaughterhouse 5 sometime. Enjoy your week!
