"Dead In The Family" by Charlaine Harris
"Into the Darkest Corner" by Elizabeth Haynes
The Passage" by Justin Cronin.

The Passage" by Justin Cronin.
I managed to review all three and my favourite was the passage. I also quite liked the Haynes book and look forward to her publishing her next one.
I am now reading;
"A Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole
Dying Light" by Stuart MacBride.
Going by my pace I will finish them this week. I haven't decided what to read after that though. Keep changing my mind.

I've heard The Passage is quite a long book, but I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a long book. Took me about two weeks to read it (partly because I had a lot on). Was worth it though. The way it's broken down it doesn't feel like such a large book.
ReplyDeleteI will be interested to hear your thoughts on A Confederacy of Dunces- we read it last year for book club and we all had different views on it.
ReplyDeleteI keep seeing good things about In The Darkest Corner, I will have to look into it. Still want The Passage but still on the not very successful book buying ban...at least the next Sookie is due in a week!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon Owl - I'm undecided on it just now. Will review it once I have finished though.
ReplyDeleteEllie - In The Darkest Corner was good. It worked because of the two timelines. It's not a book I would normally have picked up so I'm glad my bookgroup suggested it. I'm not very good on the book ban either. Better than what I used to be though. Will get through that tbr pile eventually.
I enjoyed The Passage too and can't wait for the next book in the series.
ReplyDeleteI know, gutted it's so far away. Gutted that there I'll have a longer wait for book 3.
