Book Blogger Hop.

Book Blogger Hop
Book Blogger Hop is a meme over at Crazy-For-Books. This weeks question, if you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book) which book would it be from and what would that place be?

I would love nothing more than to spend a day in fiction world from the Thursday Next books. Specifically from "One of our Thursdays Is Missing" since it was reformated to look like a world and even has a map. I am sure I could be thoroughly entertained by staying in one part such as the classics but I would have to see it all. I imagine that walking through the crime district wouldn't be too safe. Imagine being able to talk to all your favourite characters and discovering what they are really like.

  1. I haven't read the Thursday Next books but from that little insight you've just given I think they're something I'd really enjoy! Who is the author?

  2. They are so good! The first one is called The Eyre Affair and it's by Jasper Fforde. Highly recommend them.

  3. The first ones are mainly set in real world. In The Eyre Affair Thursday Next is trying to discover who has kidnapped Jane Eyre.

  4. Came by for the Hop - I picked the same response! Except that I have to confess I haven't read the latest book yet but I intend to get it this weekend if possible. I would love to spend a day in Thursday's universe!

  5. I haven't read it either, another one to add to by TBR list!

  6. Oooh, the Thursday Next books...didn't even think about that! I've only read the first one...but I can only imagine that their world gets even zanier :)

  7. I saw someone else who had the same answer a little while ago. I just wish that I had read them already. They need to go on my TBR list.

  8. I have never heard of the Thursday books...going to have to check them out.

Stopping by from the Blog Hop.

I would want to be in Louise Penny's fictional city of Three Pines.

Stop by my blog if you like.

  9. I definitely recommend these books. They are a lot of fun.

    Anja - good choice :)
    Howard - I am intrigued
Elizabeth - thanks for following. I will pop by your blog and follow back.

  10. Oh, that would be an entertaining world to visit! I didn't even think of it. I chose HP's world, just like everyone else :)

Glad to have found you via the Hop!

  11. New Follower from the hop. I don't know those books; there are so many many books. My choices are here
    Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust

  12. Susan I almost picked HP too. It's one of those worlds that everyone seems to have fallen in love with.

Thank you Steph. I will drop by your blog.
